The first is the quality standard par excellence while the second belongs to the field of information technology, security techniques and information security management systems that allow the assurance, confidentiality and integrity of data and information, as well as the systems that process it.

Pedro Serrera highlighted upon receiving the certificates that “at Fraternidad-Muprespa we are fervent believers in the importance of certification of management systems.” He also highlighted that this event coincides with the 18th anniversary of obtaining the first certification, which had as its scope the development of computer applications because "we understood that if we certified the development of applications it was a way of applying continuous improvement to all the processes that were supported in the development of applications: electronic medical records, budget management, customer service, etc."

Verification of Carbon Footprint

This verification includes both the emissions coming from the organization itself and those over which it has influence. On this occasion, the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, which opened its doors in 2019, is also included in the verification. The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security has been verifying its carbon footprint since 2016. Currently it is estimated that the Footprint Carbon of Fraternidad-Muprespa is 897.95 tons of CO2.

"At Fraternidad-Muprespa we have internalized that each one from their position has to collaborate to improve the current environmental situation by working on the right path. We also consider it of great importance to share with society the information about how our activity contributes to global warming, and what we do to reduce this contribution, through energy efficiency, self-consumption and awareness, pillars for this reduction," Elena assured.
