Fraternidad-Muprespa A Coruña moves to its new headquarters in Torre Helios, digital, sustainable and 1,375m2
The 34 employees who make up the Provincial management staff of This is the center located in Torre Helios, measuring 1,375m2 and equipped with functionality, efficiency, accessibility and digitalization, according to the quality parameters set by the Mutua management.
The current location is the third location of the Provincial Directorate of A Coruña, since the first Fraternidad-Muprespa office was opened in the city in 1981, which offers coverage to almost 2,900 mutual companies and more than 50,000 workers.
The center has a single admission area, an administration area that allows personalized attention, a 175m rehabilitation area2, with three individual treatment boxes and a hydrotherapy area, seven consultation rooms, two treatment rooms, a plaster room, two nursing areas, two waiting rooms and a digital radiology room with rays and an ultrasound machine, as well as the magnetic resonance room, the jewel of this center.
This is the first center in the Mutua network that has magnetic resonance imaging and also the first one available to patients in a mutual center in Galicia. Among its numerous advantages, it stands out that it provides extraordinary image quality in half the time, therefore allowing more patient visits to be scheduled, it is safer and more sustainable thanks to its revolutionary BlueSeal magnet and it works with a minimum amount of helium, which does not need to be replaced throughout the useful life of the machine, therefore it is completely sustainable and efficient.
The center's facilities are completed with a multipurpose training room with capacity for 35 people, intended to host both internal events and events with mutualists and institutions.
The center has a maximum energy classification, class A, it is completely accessible and is located at the confluence of the AP-9 and the airport road.
Alejandro Lamelo, Provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in A Coruña, highlighted that in 2019, 22,500 consultations and 19,000 rehabilitation sessions were carried out at the center, which gives an idea of the volume of care and traffic in this area.
