Fraternidad-Muprespa, an ethical, transparent entity committed to sustainability

Fraternidad-Muprespa has carried out a survey on its Web portal and on the corporate intranet with the aim of knowing the perception of mutual members and users about its responsible management and its contribution to sustainability. 

The results obtained reflect a high level of recognition towards the ethical, transparent and committed actions of the entity. In the question about whether Fraternidad-Muprespa acts in an ethical and transparent manner, 68% of the participants “agreed” or “strongly agreed”, which demonstrates the trust placed in the management developed by the Mutual Fund.

In relation to adhering to the United Nations Global Compact and the application of its ten principles, 71% of the people surveyed positively valued the commitment of Fraternidad-Muprespa, demonstrating the connection of its management with international standards of social responsibility.

Regarding the impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), most of the responses highlight the contribution to SDG 3 (Health and Wellbeing), thanks to actions aimed at improving the occupational health and well-being of workers and mutual members. Similarly, the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, with its sustainable design and LEED Platinum certification, was recognized as a significant contribution to SDG 13 (Climate Action) and the environmental improvement of the health system.

The global perception of the responsible action of Fraternidad-Muprespa is also very positive: more than 71% of the people surveyed stated that they “agree” or “strongly agree” that the Mutual Fund's actions generate trust and reinforce its image as a socially committed entity.

Furthermore, the internal consultation, directed at the staff, provides very significant information about the pride of belonging. 89% of workers said they “agree” or “strongly agree” with the statement “I am proud that Fraternidad-Muprespa actively contributes to the SDGs and social and environmental improvement.” This result reflects the strong bond of the human team with the values ​​of social responsibility, sustainability and institutional commitment that characterize the Mutua.

Taken together, the data confirm that Fraternidad-Muprespa enjoys a solid social reputation and that the social responsibility policies promoted from its III Social Responsibility Plan are visible, valued and are aligned with the expectations of its interest groups.
