Fraternidad-Muprespa at the ICASST conference on “Integration of the gender perspective in prl”

This is a day organized by the Cantabrian Institute for Safety and Health at Work, held at its headquarters and framed in the IX Prevention Week of Fraternidad-Muprespa, which takes place on April 28, World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This year it is celebrated between April 15 and 26, under the motto "Safe work, your first objective."

Thus, they elaborated that “although it may seem paradoxical, to realize the right to health equitably, men and women should not be treated in the same way, since two types of differential factors must be taken into account: the biological characteristics of each sex and social inequalities.

In the context analysis, it was explained that it is necessary to know the current reality to understand the reasons for promoting this integration, for which it is important to avoid the biases that we all have.

Afterwards, a diagnostic approach to the company's situation is proposed, in such a way that tools are provided to achieve this integration.  Finally, specific actions are offered that companies can implement to advance in the integration of the gender perspective in the prevention of occupational risks.
