Fraternidad-Muprespa at the III International AGROSECURITY Meeting in Jaén

Fraternidad-Muprespa has participated on May 19 in the III International Meeting of Occupational Safety and Health in the agricultural sector and the food industry, Agrosafety Congress – Agrosafety, held in Jaén within the context of the prestigious Expoliva agricultural fair.

This Congress was born in 2018 by Expoliva, due to the importance of its agri-food sector related to the olive grove and in response to the lack of specific congressional events on this matter, with the aim of addressing the situation and new challenges that this sector will have to face in terms of occupational, food and environmental health and safety.

Ángel Gilabert, Provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Jaén has highlighted the importance of participating in such an important international event and has presented a Rafael Delgado, Prevention consultant for the Mutua in Córdoba, who has given two presentations on the presence of asbestos in oil mills. They have addressed concepts of identification and management of asbestos in this important agri-food sector.

The next edition of Agrosecurity will take place in 2024.
