For his part, José Ortega, general director of BASF Coatings Services, thanked the staff dedicated to the prevention of occupational risks on a daily basis, for the effort to ensure that zero accidents are a result deserved, not just enjoyed. He also asked “to keep the responsibility and volatility of this merit in our minds, and never let our guard down so that all the people who work with us are well today and tomorrow.” He also thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa for its effectiveness and coordinated work with the company, "always offering and recommending its experience to other clients in order to be an active agent in prevention."

BASF Coatings Services makes continuous efforts to improve safety and environmental protection, showing a firm commitment to the prevention of occupational risks, taking as a priority objective of its business policy to achieve “zero accidents”.

In addition to those mentioned, Lars Küllenberg, director of the BASF Española center in Marchamalo, were present at the award ceremony for the Distinction; David Serrano, responsible for safety, quality and environment; Francisco Muñoz, Safety delegate of BASF Coatings Services S.A.U.; José Ortega, General Director of BASF Coatings Services S.A.U.; Thierry Van der Brempt, Business Management Automotive Refinish Iberia; Juan Víctor Ruiz, Occupational Medicine and Health Protection; and Alberto García, Provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Guadalajara.

The badges are intended to be placed in a visible place in the company to demonstrate its proactivity in favor of safety, health and occupational well-being.
