Fraternidad-Muprespa awards the Agroman-Banasa railway joint venture the construction of its new Central Hospital

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has awarded the works for the construction of the new Central Hospital, located at Paseo de La Habana, 83-85, to the UTE Ferrovial Agroman-Banasa. This will be the only hospital in the mutual insurance sector in the municipality of Madrid.

The UTE Ferrovial Agroman-Banasa, has presented the most advantageous offer and a project focused on environmental sustainability. The execution period of the works is 24 months and the investment will be more than 30.4 million euros.

The new Hospital will have 50 rooms for hospitalization, rehabilitation, emergencies, 16 consultations, a surgical block with three operating rooms, and an imaging unit equipped with the latest diagnostic technologies, including CT, magnetic resonance, ultrasound and digital radiology. It will also be a pioneer in energy efficiency, aspiring to obtain LEED PLATINUM certification according to the criteria of the Green Building Certification Institute.
