Fraternidad-Muprespa, blood donation center for the fourth consecutive year

On December 21, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa has made his fourth campaign Blood Donation.

The center of San Agustín street located in Madrid, has been chosen by the Red Cross to act as a blood transfusion center for one day and for the fourth consecutive year.

In total, 25 Central Services workers from the Cánovas, Cervantes and San Agustín centers participated, who wanted to collaborate voluntarily and altruistically in this solidarity project.

Donating blood is a responsible, committed, generous and valuable act. Human blood is a substance that currently cannot be manufactured, which is why it is necessary to store deposits, thus mitigating possible health problems for people who require transfusions. It is also an anonymous gesture that guarantees the absence of discrimination of any kind, including gender, race, nationality or religion.

The blood obtained thanks to donations is used to treat many diseases, which is why it has been a very positive day for donors and health professionals at our centers.
