Fraternidad-Muprespa breaks membership record, increases revenue by 10.9% and contributes 11.1 million to the SS

Fraternidad-Muprespa has closed the year with some income of 1,972.6 million euros, 10.9% more than in 2024, of which 96.3% correspond to social contributions.The surplus that the Mutual Fund will enter into Social Security is 11.1 million euros

According to data collected in the Annual Report and Sustainability Report, in 2025 the Mutual Fund had more than 119 thousand associated mutual companies and 1,617,041 protected workers, new membership record. 

To serve the protected group, the Mutua has a care network of 114 of its own centers spread throughout Spain, in which a staff of 2,243 people provide their services, “main driver of the entity’s progress”, according to Rueda.

Work began on the new centers in Sevilla and Tomelloso, in Ciudad Real, and important partial renovations were undertaken in the centers in Málaga, Cartagena, Almansa and Manzanares, all designed to offer the protected population more comfortable, sustainable and inclusive spaces. 

At the General Meeting, the important prevalence of the figures of work absenteeism, a scenario that requires the promotion of initiatives that reduce the incidence of avoidable cases and shorten the duration of the processes, are already resolved from a medical perspective.

Health, hospital activity and special benefits

The Mutual has made 1,170,707 healthcare services in professional contingency and more than 718,000 in common contingency. 

Professional contingency processes decreased by 2.52% to 82,686, of which 47,109 had sick leave associated with them, 1.02% less than in 2024. The number of work accidents per 1,000 protected workers stood at 28.3%.

The Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital maintains a continuous rate of increase in activity, assuming more than half of all surgeries performed at the Mutua. 

Special mention deserves the reinforcement of the role of nursing, as well as the advancement of teleconsultation. Another milestone for the entity is the consolidation of the Recover project, which evolves the physiotherapy care model in the network of centers, and which will complete its implementation in 2026.

The Special Benefits Commission granted 600 aid to injured workers for an amount of 807,451 euros.

Prevention, Quality and Communication

A total of 4,089 technical actions were carried out within the General Preventive Activity Plan and 7,971 reports in more than 3,250 companies. 

5,306 surveys of patients with a rating of 8.09 in professional contingency, the overall grade for the service, when including common contingencies, is 7.37.

In the field of communication, 1,220 actions have been carried out with the various interest groups of the Mutua. 

Digitalization, AI and cybersecurity 

Fraternidad‑Muprespa consolidated significant progress in the last year in the integration of artificial intelligence solutions in your healthcare, legal and technological processes. In this line, the creation of the Digital Operations Department stands out.

La Mutua also promoted the corporate initiativeCommitted to Safety, strengthening the culture of information protection and cybersecurity among all its staff. 

Recognition of five consultancies 

At the end of the General Meeting, five consultancies were recognized for their  years of collaboration, commitment to people, professional excellence and vocation for public service,  values ​​shared with the Mutual. This is Afianza Asesores de Madrid; Lleida Management Center; M. Yanes Intermediaries of Santa Cruz de Tenerife; Municio&Mayares Advisors of Guadalajara; and Tefficsa de Tomelloso (Ciudad Real).
