Fraternidad-Muprespa brings the exhibition of 20th century prevention posters to Granada

Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, has moved the exhibition of prevention posters from the 20th century to Granada, as part of its project to disseminate preventive culture. The exhibition can be visited in the Science Park. Belonging to the VECA & MUGO Collection, the posters focus on the evolution of workplace safety over the past century. 

José María Brav o, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Granada, welcomed those attending the opening ceremony and gave the floor first to Jose Millan, curator of the Prevention Culture Pavilion of the Granada Science Park, who highlighted the importance that these posters had in the past, since, above all, at the beginning of the century, it was one of the few ways available to convey to workers the importance of risk prevention.

“The poster in prevention” was the title of the presentation of Alfredo Menendez, professor of History of Science at the University of Granada, who took a tour of the history of posters as a source of information and communication.
 
Finally Miguel Angel Quesada, Director of Communication at Fraternidad-Muprespa, gave a tour explaining to the attendees the characteristics of the posters that make up the exhibition, which has already visited numerous Spanish cities. The 48 reproductions of posters from the 20th century, whose theme is safety at work, prevention and occupational health, can be visited in the Granada Science Park.
