Fraternidad-Muprespa CELEBRATES A DAY IN SANTANDER TITLED: HEALTHY COMPANY. HEALTH AS AN ELEMENT OF BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
On March 18, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, in collaboration with CEOE CEPYME Cantabria, Apprentice, ACESEF y AENOR, held an information day under the title: “The Healthy Company”, in which the importance of health as an element of improvement in the company was analyzed in depth.
Managers, HR managers, ORP managers from important companies in the region and labor advisors attended the event, which highlighted the broad participation of attendees and the good disposition of the speakers to resolve the queries raised.
The day has been presented by Mr. Sergio Serna, Managing Partner of Aprendiza, active popular athlete and triathlete, who has addressed, based on his personal experience, the importance of health promotion as a tool for increasing productivity and personal satisfaction.
Next Ms. Nuria Bustamante, “Mindfulness” instructor, has explained this method as a mindfulness technique to reduce stress and increase productivity and has argued a practical case capturing the attention of all attendees.
Then he intervened Mrs. Isabel Belaustegui, Doctor-Nutritionist, who has spoken about the importance of companies getting involved in the implementation of healthy measures for their workers, with the aim of improving eating habits, nutritional status and metabolic control.
Mr. Manuel Abajo, member of the ACESEF association, has explained the importance of sport and physical activity in increasing business activity.
The concept of a healthy company is born in a work environment in which staff and management participate in a process of continuous improvement to promote and protect the health, safety and well-being of people and the sustainability of the work environment.
Companies can have an accredited certification of the Healthy Company management model, as explained Mr. Gerardo Pellón, Director of the AENOR delegation in Cantabria.
Lastly, there was the presence of Ms. Natalia Fernández, Deputy Director General of Prevention, Quality and Communication of Fraternidad-Muprespa, who has commented on the economic impact of unhealthy practices on the company.
The day ended with a discussion that reflected the interest that the topics addressed have aroused among all attendees.
