On February 8 and on the occasion of “International Women's Day”, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, held a round table at the Provincial Directorate of Almería to discuss two issues that directly and indirectly affect this group, the PREL (Benefit for Risk during Pregnancy or Breastfeeding) and the CUME (Benefit for Care of Minors Affected by Cancer or Serious Illness).

In the first case, the objective is to improve the integration of women in the workplace and promote the reconciliation of professional and family life. In the second, it affects both sexes equally, but in a high percentage it is women who request a reduction in working hours to permanently care for minor children in their care, who are sick with cancer or another serious illness. Both have been approached from different perspectives: regulatory, healthcare and prevention.

Women responsible for HR departments of companies associated with our Entity, labor advisors and ORP managers have participated, who have participated in this sharing, which has been moderated by Ms. Matilde Góngora Martínez, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Almería.

They have also participated Mrs. Mª Ángeles Abad Gómez, D.U.E. of the Provincial Directorate of the Mutual and Mr. Alfonso Gerez Miras, Senior Prevention Technician at Fraternidad-Muprespa.

This initiative has been valued very positively by all participants.
