Fraternidad-Muprespa holds a conference in Almería on aid measures for the self-employed
On January 18, the Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has collaborated with the University of Almería Foundation, in a few days under the title “New aid measures for the self-employed”.
The event inaugurated by Maria Isabel Ramirez, vice-rector for Students and Employment, who welcomed all attendees.
The first presentation was given by Noelia Martínez, technician from UPTA (Union of Professionals and Self-Employed Workers) who has explained the particularities included in the new Urgent Reform Law on Self-Employed Work, specifying that "The Urgent Self-Employment Reform Law contains positive measures although most of them already existed. Our national organization presented thirty amendments to improve the text and provide solutions to the self-employed in this country".
Subsequently Antonia Girado, Cade technician from Andalucía Emprende (Andalusian Public Foundation), explained what the support program for the creation, consolidation and improvement of the competitiveness of self-employed companies consists of:“For the 2017 financial year, they are called through the Resolution of December 27, 2017 and self-employed workers with residence and tax domicile in Andalusia may be beneficiaries of the aid.”.

To end the day,Alfonso Gerez, a technician in the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture at Fraternidad-Muprespa, has commented on the pregnancy risk benefits that self-employed workers can request, explaining the procedures, requirements and deadlines thereof. He has also demonstrated the online training platform that the Mutual Fund makes available to any associated worker.
