Fraternidad-Muprespa joins the Canary CSR Network
The Canarian CSR Network is promoted by the Vice-Ministry of Social Welfare of the Government of the Canary Islands with the mission of promoting a business and social culture based on sustainability, equality, ethics, accessibility and solidarity.
The accession ceremony was held last Tuesday the 11th at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Francisco Candil, who highlighted that each new accession reinforces a development model “that puts people at the center” and recognizes that profitability is also measured in social impact and sustainability.
There are now 275 entities and companies that have joined after the incorporation of 21 new organizations, that come from various sectors: technological, health, educational and social. In addition to Fraternidad-Muprespa, companies such as Agro Tecnologías Canarias, Alma 21, Canarias Tecnológica (CTSI), Cognitia Tech, Spar Gran Canaria, Instituto FOCAN have joined, as well as social entities and foundations such as Plena Inclusion Canarias, Obra Social de Acología y Desarrollo, Fundación Radio Ecca, Fundación Pequeno Valiente, among others.
Since its reactivation in 2024, the Network has carried out multiple actions: meetings, training activities, membership signatures and dissemination of good business practices throughout the archipelago. Furthermore, the Network has highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration to consolidate a more committed and socially responsible economic fabric in the Canary Islands.
