Fraternidad-Muprespa opens the new healthcare center in Alcorcón, Madrid

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security makes a new and modern center available to its mutual members in the Madrid town of Alcorcón, located at 7 Roma Street, door B.

The new delegation replaces the center located until now on Polvoranca Street, in the Urtinsa industrial estate, and demonstrates the Mutua's commitment to environmental sustainability.

This is a space of more than 1,800 square meters that has an admission area, two large areas for administrative tasks, four medical consultations, a 200-square-meter physiotherapy room with three individual treatment boxes and a hydrotherapy area, two dressing/casting rooms, a diagnostic imaging room with digital radiology, three waiting rooms, a training room, a meeting room and two changing rooms adapted for women and men. men.

The center incorporates measures to guarantee maximum accessibility, such as a ramp, automatic doors and internal steps, elevator with double entrance, magnetic loop for people with hearing difficulties, tactile routing for people with visual difficulties and high relief room signage and braille.

Likewise, it has a high-efficiency LED lighting system with lighting control, presence detectors, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, multimedia screens in the waiting rooms, a ticket dispenser for patients and a system on screens for consultation shifts.

With a team made up of 19 professionals, including doctors, physiotherapists, nursing professionals, admission assistants and benefits administrators, more than 32,000 health procedures have been carried out at the center throughout this year.

Its opening hours are Monday to Friday, from eight in the morning to eight in the afternoon. Its location allows convenient access by private or public transport (train, metro and urban and interurban buses), facilitating the accessibility of patients to the center, which provides coverage to almost 40,000 working people residing in the area of influence.
