Fraternidad-Muprespa organizes a road safety workshop with virtual reality in Castellón

The Provincial Directorate of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Castellón held a road safety workshop with immersive virtual reality at its headquarters last Friday for the workers of the company A.D. Levante Parts S.L. The presentation of the event was carried out by Angel Fernandez, director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Castellón, who thanked all attendees for their presence, highlighting the importance of these workshops as a tool to facilitate the reduction of work-related road accidents.

Subsequently,David Balmaseda, senior technician of the Mutua, presented the procedure of this new technology whose purpose is to raise awareness to change the driver's perception of risk. Also, with its help, other factors that influence accidents such as the vehicle, the road, adverse weather conditions, glare, distractions or driving under the influence of toxic substances are addressed.

They then carried out the driving simulation exercise in which 13 workers from the aforementioned company participated. All of them described the experience as highly interesting and at its end a debate was generated where they addressed various issues and concerns.
