On November 22, the VI edition of the Enfoca Talento Program began, launched by the Training and Employment area of the Avilés City Council and whose objective is to train and mentor unemployed women, through the improvement of their personal and work skills, so that they can access or re-enter the labor market.

Fraternidad-Muprespa has participated in this initiative since its second edition, carrying out mentoring tasks and facilitating the participants in the program with actions aimed at bringing them closer to business reality. On this occasion, at the event held on Saturday the 11th, Mutua María Teresa Belver, Provincial Director of Asturias, and Ana Fernández Castro, Director of the Gijón Delegation, were present.

The 15 unemployed qualified women in the town thus seek to follow in the footsteps of other participants who have left their unemployment situation thanks to this itinerary, specifically, 60% of the 75 women who have taken part in the initiative.

On this occasion, mentors and mentees met in a networking day where each of the women actively searching for employment presented their work skills, strengths and professional objectives, subsequently receiving from the mentors different contributions from their life and professional experience as well as the commitment to provide support so that they can achieve their goals.

An example of sisterhood that once again highlights the importance of creating women's networks to overcome barriers to access to the workplace.
