Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the Master's Degree in Comprehensive Building Management

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa has collaborated with the University of Seville, making a presentation framed in the Master's Degree in Comprehensive Building Management, which is taught in the Higher Technical School of Building Engineering. The Master is part of the specialty “Business Management” (specifically in the subject Control Techniques and Process Improvements taught by Pedro Fernandez de Valderrama).

Pedro Serrera Cobos, deputy director general of Information Systems and Services of the Mutua, has been in charge of giving those present an interesting conference, diversified into three topics.

To begin, it has discussed the particularities of public bidding and contracting procedures for engineering services and renovation construction works, in accordance with the Public Sector Contracts Law. As a practical case, Pedro Serrera Cobos has presented the study of the work of the new Fraternidad-Muprespa healthcare center in Córdoba, which is beginning construction these days.

He then continued to explain LEED certification and the criteria for selecting and awarding contracts, and their impact on environmental control projects. The practical case exposed has been the work of the Hospital de Paseo de La Habana (Madrid) by Fraternidad-Muprespa.

Finally, he has exposed the quality controls in the works as an element to guarantee the engineering and architectural criteria established in the project.
