Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the V Meeting of Preventive Culture in Andalusia
On October 30 and 31, the V Meeting of Preventive Culture in Andalusia was held in Córdoba, an event organized by the Andalusian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention and the Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment.
In these two days, experts, authorities and representatives of companies committed to occupational health and safety have met at the Conference Center, in order to create spaces for the exchange of knowledge and good practices in preventive culture.
The day began with the institutional presence of Rocío Blanco, Minister of Employment, Business and Self-Employment; Javier González de Lara, president of the CEA; and Jesús Aguirre, president of the Parliament of Andalusia, in addition to the regional leaders of the UGT and CCOO unions.
On behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Health Culture, participated in the event, who was accompanied by Natalia Fdez. Fundación Personas y Empresas - AUREN4, deputy general director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutua, and by Rafael Delgado, prevention consultant of the Mutua in the capital.
Morales took part in the round table “The vision of Mutual Insurance Companies”, in which he highlighted the important role they play as relevant agents in eliminating health damage derived from work.
He also advocated for a transition towards proactive prevention, which acts before accidents occur and demanded more effective actions based on real decisions by those who manage companies. “ Our advice focuses on middle managers, teaching them practical tools that they can apply without needing specialized help ,” he explained.
The meeting also stood out for the active participation of entities and companies in various round tables, where they shared their experiences and strategies in terms of prevention, among them, the DGT, Affor Health, Guardia Civil or the Axa Chair of Occupational Risk Prevention, whose director, Antonio José Millán, also offered an interesting presentation.
Also taking part in this important event in the occupational risk prevention sector were BASF, Cajamar, Valeo and Tragsa, all of them Fraternidad-Muprespa mutual companies.
This V Meeting of Preventive Culture in Andalusia is consolidated as a reference space for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and collective commitment towards more effective, humane and sustainable prevention.
