Fraternidad-Muprespa participated on June 8 in the webinar on the "Discharge review procedure and contingency determination procedure in professional contingencies", an event organized by the Social Graduate Colleges of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Lanzarote.

The day began with Fermín Ojeda Medina, president of the Most Excellent Official College of Social Graduates of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura, who has highlighted the importance for social graduates of continuous training and updating in these relative procedures to professional contingencies.

Below Mercedes Leonor Morales, president of the Most Excellent Official College of Social Graduates of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has taken the opportunity to congratulate Fermín Ojeda on the current appointment as president of the Canarian Council of Social Graduates and has presented Danesa Hernández Álvarez, secretary of the Illustrious Official College of Social Graduates of Lanzarote, who has reiterated her gratitude to the Mutua for the collaboration in this type of days.

Ana Lorenzo Cardenes, legal coordinator of the Economic Benefits Department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has begun her presentation explaining the legislative regulation of professional contingencies, as well as deadlines and situations of temporary disability, to continue with the medical discharge review process, detailing the times, actors involved, documentation and types of resolution with practical examples in which you can glimpse the difficulties that sometimes arise in this type of procedure. In the second part of the presentation, Ana has developed the characteristics of the contingency determination procedure, its phases, factors to take into account, administrative documentation, the consortium litigation of all the actors involved as well as the types of resolution.

After the presentation, Raquel Domínguez, provincial director of the Mutua in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, moderated the question time and then gave the floor to Carlos Macho, provincial director of the Mutua in Las Palmas, who closed the day by thanking the presidents for organizing the day and all the participants for their attendance.
