Fdez. "If we talk in terms of health and safety, for a long time the regulations were made thinking about occupational and biological health policies, everything focused on pregnancy and motherhood. It seemed that prevention stopped there." 

The first step, therefore, must be the legal perspective, because there is no specific preventive policy for occupational risks disaggregated by sex. The next step is the involvement of Public Administrations, companies, unions, the business community and society in general to change, disseminate, educate and raise awareness on the matter.  

X PROTXe99f2c79 The prevention of occupational risks with a gender perspective must be based on the identification, evaluation and management of ergonomic and psychosocial risks and on the pillars of dissemination and awareness on the matter. “The best thing is to do it through alliances that reinforce the different points of view that each of these actors dominates,” said Fdez.
