He also recalled when Fraternidad-Muprespa won the Communication award in the 1st edition of the awards in 2016, thanks to Prevention Week, which has now been in existence for nine editions “bringing the prevention of occupational risks to the streets” and made a summary of all the innovations in communication and occupational well-being that during these years have been implemented in the entity for all its mutual members.

On Friday, the Auditorium of the University of Oviedo hosted the presentation of the Awards, references among professionals and companies in the health, safety and well-being at work sector. The total number of applications presented was close to 300 and 55 were finally the finalists. These were the winners:

  • Prevencionar Award for Company of the Year (Large Company Category):  BANCO SANTANDER and GONVAUTO
  • Prevencionar Award for Company of the Year (SME Category):  AIMPLAS PLASTIC TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE
  • Prevent Healthy Company Award (Large Company Category):  KANTAR
  • Prevencionar Award for Professional Career:  CARLOS CIPRÉS MÁRQUEZ
  • Prevencionar Award for Preventive Culture:  CFIFP EL ARENAL
  • Prevencionar Award for Best Preventive Practice:PORTLAND VALDERRIVAS CEMENTS
  • Prevencionar Award for Preventive Innovation:  JOHN DEERE IBERICA
  • Prevent Communication Award: E-COORDINA FOUNDATION
  • Prevent Road Safety Award:ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF SPINAL CORD INJURY (AESLEME)
  • Prevent Research Award:  UNIVERSITY OF CANTABRIA
  • Prevent Mental Health Award: OBERTAMENT (ASSOCIATION TO FIGHT AGAINST STIGMA AND DISCRIMINATION IN MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS)
  • Prevent Mental Health Award:  IBERDROLA MEXICO and TELEFÓNICA MOVISTAR – ECUADOR

Agustín Sánchez-Toledo, director of the Prevencionar Awards, highlighted, after the presentation ceremony, that the entity is already working on theV International Congress Prevent, which will take place in October 2025.
