Fraternidad-Muprespa present with road safety at URO, Vehícolas Especiales, S.A. (UROVESA)
On June 19 and 20Fraternidad-Muprespahas done in the companyUro, Special Vehicles, S.A. (UROVESA), awareness-raising sessions on the prevention of work-related traffic accidents taught by the Prevention technicianEduardo Lodeiroto 100 workers.
In addition to two accident awareness workshops in itinere, using immersive virtual reality taught by the Prevention technicianDavid Revillo, which was attended by 21 workers. The objective of the actions has been to raise awareness among workers to reduce accidents associated with traffic.
The conferences have been organized with the invaluable collaboration ofCecilia Sierra, HR director of the companyUROVESA.
While using the virtual reality equipment, workers have been able to experience driving in the face of different risk factors. Through a practical way and without leaving the classroom, they have been able to carry out virtual driving practices in which they have worked on risk factors associated with alcohol, drugs, medications, distractions, adverse weather conditions, etc.
In addition to acting on the human factor through the virtual part, attendees have been able to discuss accident data at the national level and the consequences of traffic accidents for the injured and their families. The vehicle factor has also been recalled as a source of risk, with special importance of a correct position in the vehicle seat and maintenance of active and passive safety equipment. The conferences have been developed generating a continuous debate around road safety and the exchange of good practices.
