Fraternidad-Muprespa reopens its Abanto center

Since last day 5, the Fraternidad-Muprespa healthcare center in Abanto, in the El Campillo industrial estate, 30 (48,500, Gallarta), has reopened its doors. Among the new quality aspects incorporated, the high-efficiency LED lighting system with lighting control stands out, which has replaced fluorescent lighting. It also has presence detectors, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a multimedia screen in the waiting room, a ticket dispenser for patients and a system on screens for consultation appointments.

Accessibility to the center has also improved thanks to the creation of an access ramp to the center from the exterior vehicle parking and the replacement of the manual folding door with an automatic one.

The center has 150 m2, distributed in an admission area, medical consultation, nursing consultation, dressing/casting room, digital radiology room, waiting room and toilet adapted for women/men.

Icíar Carrasco, director of the Delegation, has expressed her “excitement about this reopening after a few months in which the center has been closed, something that has been worth it, since the renovation carried out has improved the facilities, so that we can offer a better service to our mutual members and interest groups.” 

The Abanto center provides coverage to 356 mutual companies, 15% of the total of 2,400 in the province and protects about 5,800 workers, which represent 17% of the total of Vizcaya, 34,000.
