Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, in its commitment to trying to live on a more sustainable planet, provides responses to the organization's social strategy by evaluating the risks associated with climate change.

More and more organizations are joining the effort involved in sustainability. In the range of all these actions, the calculation of the Carbon Footprint is already integrated into the philosophy of many of these organizations. Fraternidad-Muprespa is one of them and has just verified, for the second consecutive year, its carbon footprint, as has been done in recent years. Compared to the previous year, an improvement in greenhouse gas emission ratios was achieved in almost all the parameters evaluated. The result was 4,333.44 (T CO 2 eq).

This certificate accredits the veracity of the calculation of the emissions generated by the business activity and is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 14064-1:2012 Standard. It therefore constitutes recognition of the work in the fight against climate change and its effects on health. This certification distinguishes us as a company committed to the environment, our stakeholders and society in general.

The main aspects towards which the effort to reduce emissions is directed focused on the consumption of electricity from renewable sources, training in good environmental practices for all Mutual personnel, the incorporation of an electric vehicle, the acquisition of equipment to improve energy efficiency, control of paper consumption and the incorporation of remote management and telemetry systems.

Specific measures that contribute to this are, for example, the development of the new version of the app My Frater Patient, available on Google Play and Apple Store, a software application that makes it easier to carry out online document management. In this way, the use of a large amount of paper is eliminated, which improves the efficiency of some procedures that save a trip by vehicle.
