Among the activities that take place around the traveling exhibition “WORK AND HEALTH FROM PROTECTION TO PREVENTION”, currently located at the headquarters of the Delegation of the Board of Communities of Castilla la Mancha in Albacete (Old Flour Factory – Paseo de la Cuba, 27 – Albacete), the guided tours of the different educational centers in the province stand out.

Last Friday, October 15, the first of these visits took place, which corresponded to students from the Andrés de Vandelvira Secondary Education Institute, who are studying the Training Cycle of Environmental Chemistry, with one of their subjects being Occupational Risk Prevention.

The visit is guided by Ana Jaen MediavillaSenior Occupational Risk Prevention Technician at Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutua de Accidents at Work, which organizes this exhibition together with the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work and the Largo Caballero Foundation.

The exhibition was inaugurated on October 8 by the Minister of Employment, Equality and Youth Ms. María Luz Rodriguez, the Mayor of Albacete Ms. Carmen Oliver, together with the directors of the organizing entities.

It reviews the labor history of our country and our region in particular, with references to the Almaden and Puertollano Mines (Ciudad Real).

The duration of the visit is approximately one and a half hours, and the participation of the educational community, both teachers and students, is of great interest.
