Healthy company and first aid day in Ubrique
On April 26, a conference was held on Healthy Company and First Aid Workshop in collaboration with the Ubrique City Council and the delegation of Fraternidad-Muprespa in this town, within the activities programmed in the II Prevention Week.
The opening of the day was carried out by Isabel Gómez García, mayor of Ubrique y Virginia Bazan Calvillo, Health Councilor. In it, they have expressed the importance that the promotion and dissemination of preventive culture in the workplace has for the city council. They also thanked our Entity for its interest in organizing this type of events in the Sierra de Cádiz area, and specifically in their town.
The presentation of the day was made by Isabel Visquert, director of the Fraternidad-Muprespa delegation in Ubrique and Jerez, highlighting the need for involvement from a global point of view, in health promotion policies, both from public institutions, private companies and the social community.
The conference on healthy business has been held by Angel Merlo, senior Occupational Risk Prevention technician of our Entity. Where he highlighted the importance of the adoption of promotion and health policies at work by private entities as a means of managing the aging of the active population and developing healthy habits.
Next, a first aid workshop was given by José Luis Derlinchan, DUE by Fraternidad-Muprespa. The purpose of this workshop has been to provide the most basic knowledge to provide effective help to those people who have suffered any type of accident and to train them in the basic techniques of applying first aid, which they can apply in their jobs as well as in their daily lives. The workshop has been developed interactively with the attending public, participating in resuscitation practices.
The event has been well received by attendees and they have shown their satisfaction with it.
