Hygiene and cleanliness of health centers, the focus of an event with the presence of Fraternidad-Muprespa

Fraternidad-Muprespa has attended an important online event, “Cleaning, disinfection and PRL in healthcare centers”, organized by the magazine ‘Limpiezas’, in collaboration with the publications ‘Formación de Seguridad Laboral’ and ‘Facility M&S’.

The day took place in two panels. On the one hand, "cleaning and disinfection", in which the experts addressed, among other topics, the transformation of cleaning in the health sector, surgical cleaning, the protocols in this area established by the ISSA or the management of health risks to guarantee patient safety. In the second panel, focused on occupational safety, participants focused on topics such as health protective clothing, prevention against cross contamination or the health and safety of health care personnel against attacks.

Elena Iglesias, director of the Quality and Environment department, represented Fraternidad-Muprespa within the first panel to present the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital as a success story.

“The construction of the center was a very exciting moment for the entire Mutua, due to the great commitment involved in the construction of a new hospital and with strict construction requirements to be able to obtain the Leed Healthcare Platinum certification,” he stated.

“We are committed to an integrated management model of all external services, creating the General Services Area of the Hospital, which acts as a Facility Services Management Office. This comprehensive management model is proving to have a positive impact on the quality of services, productivity, and safety, which directly affects the satisfaction of users of both internal and external services.”
