June 5, 2019. World Environment Day No air pollution!
The World Health Organization (WHO) calls air pollution the “silent killer.” 7 million people around the world die prematurely each year from this vitally relevant, pressing, dangerous and complex problem.
We consider that the matter is serious and worrying enough not to put it into perspective and to disclose it and do it again as many times as necessary, we need clean air and soon. According to experts, the current levels of air pollution on the planet already exceed the safety standards dictated by the World Health Organization. Only 1 in 10 people on the planet live in places that respect the air quality limit.
We must know that, as various scientific research confirms, the particles generated by environmental pollution pass from our lungs into the bloodstream and from there spread to the entire body. The conditions and diseases caused by pollution are countless (asthma, different types of cancer, liver problems, hives, dementia, cerebrovascular accidents, fertility problems, among many others).
On June 5, World Environment Day will be celebrated again around the world, whose motto for this year, “ No air pollution” invites a deep and thoughtful reflection to which we at Fraternidad-Muprespa join unconditionally.
Air pollution is, without a doubt, a complex problem that is not just a matter of aesthetics, we can all do something to avoid it by adopting small or not so small! measures that help us compensate for its effects. I'm sure that together we will come up with a thousand simple ways to contribute.
Thank you for each and every one of your possible intentions.
