La Mutua in Malaga, responsible for waste management and consumption reduction for its Environmental Quality
The best waste is the one that is not generated
The provincial management of Malaga has received the environmental sustainability area of the Malaga City Council to hold an educational meeting on environmental quality.
Juan Carlos Quiñones, a technician from that environmental advisory center, has given a talk at our center about “ Raising awareness of waste segregation and consumption reduction measures(water, paper, electricity).”
In a concise manner he highlighted that the best waste is the one that is not generated and has uncovered the false myth of “why segregate if everything comes together later.” You have remembered the existing containers for each type of waste and have carried out a practical exercise on where to throw each of them. It has also indicated the measures to be taken to promote the reduction of consumption both in the home and at work and has highlighted the importance of doing it correctly to minimize the environmental and economic impact.
To conclude this interesting activity, the environmental advisory center has delivered the “ Guide to good environmental practices” to all attendees.
The training has been received thanks to the granting of the Municipal Certificate of Environmental Quality obtained by our provincial management of Malaga in April 2017.
