We are one Mutual Collaborator with Social Security with more than 90 years of experience in the care and treatment of patients who have suffered work accidents o occupational diseases. Our commitment and trust that characterize us have made us a benchmark in the sector.

Our work
We focus on:

History
The founding of La Fraternidad was in Bilbao in 1929, by its founder and president
60s
It becomes a prosperous entity with a prominent presence in the main Spanish cities.
70s
Its true development began, in 1973 the Paseo de La Habana Hospital Center was inaugurated in Madrid, and it continued to advance in the installation of new care and prevention centers. At the same time, he led a period of academic and scientific training, holding his first medical symposium in 1977, a biennial event that is still present.
80s
The Fraternidad consolidates this stage of expansion with the absorption of more than 14 mutual companies.
90s
The general meetings of Fraternidad and Muprespa Mupag Previsión approve the merger of both mutual companies, on December 31, 1998, ranking third in the sector.
21st century
The Madre de Dios day hospital, current provincial address of Madrid, is inaugurated. The digital evolution begins. In 2010 with the arrival of a new manager to the Entity, Carlos Aranda, the first Corporate Strategic Plan (PEC) began. In 2015, construction of the new Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital began, on the same site as the previous one, which opened its doors in April 2019, LEED Platinum certified and a benchmark in traumatology.

What are Mutual Collaborators with Social Security?
The Mutual Collaborators with Social Security (MCSS) Previously known by the name Mutual Accidents at Work and Occupational Illnesses of Social Security (MATEPSS), they are associations of private, non-profit entrepreneurs, whose exclusive purpose is collaboration in the management of Social Security. Its scope of action extends to the entire national territory, and its collaboration is developed in relation to various services.
Services for companies and freelancers
The different MCSS They make their services available to all companies and self-employed workers, without incurring any cost to them. The association or adhesion to a mutual insurance company is mandatory compliance.
Partnership Scope
The association of a company with a Mutual Fund can have different scopes:
- Management of contingencies work accidents y occupational diseases, both in health and economic terms.
- Management of the economic provision of temporary disability derived from common contingencies (optional).
Financing and services
As a result of the association of the company with the Mutua, the latter receives from General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS) a percentage of the company's dues or contributions from its workers for financing. During the term of the contract, the company makes use of the agreed services, such as health and economic services.
Coverage for self-employed workers
In the case of self-employed workers, the scope of coverage varies depending on the type of self-employed person and is governed by the Self-Employed Work Statute and the Law 6/2017, of October 24, on Urgent Self-Employment Reforms.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration
Based on the collaboration with the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, the Mutual:
- He submits to the annual audit of accounts on the part of the General Intervention of Social Security and to Court of Accounts.
- It is governed by the resolutions and decrees of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations.
- It is planned with the National Social Security Institute in the management and administration of economic benefits.
- Coordinates with Public Health Service in the management of temporary disability derived from common contingencies.
