Nanomaterials are present in our daily lives in ordinary products such as food, cosmetics, electronic devices or medicines. They are materials that contain tiny particles, invisible to the human eye, with one or two dimensions on the nanoscale, with beneficial properties for humans.

Nanosafety presents doubts due to the limited information available on its toxicology, health effects, effectiveness of ventilation and protection systems; as well as the lack of limit values.
