'Together' is the simple motto chosen this year by the Ministry of Equality for the 25N campaign, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This day seeks to call for inter-institutional and intergenerational unity in the fight against sexist violence.

In relation to this inter-institutional unit, Fraternidad-Muprespa joins, once again, the dissemination actions of this day, to draw attention to the necessary eradication of this pandemic.

This day seeks to honor the women victims and survivors of sexist violence, as well as those who have fought this scourge, for example the first associations to help victims. Fortunately, since these groups emerged, social awareness has brought numerous advances, for example, that companies also consider measures to protect female workers who are victims of this violence.

In the case of Starting next year, the current plan will be continued in the IV Equality Plan.

The campaign motto is also the title of a short documentary which seeks to impact society about the path traveled, the milestones legislative and social in the fight against gender violence and emphasizing what remains to be done.

The testimonies of eight women, from survivors of gender violence, to professionals in the sector, institutional representatives and activists, the work appeals to unity in the face of denialist messages that try to deny data as compelling as that almost one in three women, at some point in their lives, have suffered sexual violence.

It does this with powerful testimonials and phrases among which we highlight the following:

Violence is born from inequality

We have done nothing to suffer this violence. It is neither our responsibility nor our fault

We suffer violence for being women, just for the fact of being women

We want each other alive and free

To deny sexist violence is to execute it again

Those who will come must grow free and those of us who are here want to live free
