Fraternidad-Muprespa delivers the Zero Accident Distinction to fifty Almeria companies

The Provincial management of The badges are intended to be placed in a visible place in the company to record its proactivity in favor of occupational safety, health and well-being. The rest of the companies deserving the distinction, approximately fifty more, will receive it soon.

The opening of the event was carried out by Amós García, Territorial delegate of Employment, Business and Self-Employment in Almería. García congratulated the representatives of the distinguished companies and praised their commitment to the prevention of occupational risks, highlighting that "it is possible to achieve zero accidents. The presence of these companies is a clear example of this."

Subsequently, it outlined the outlines of the Andalusian Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2024-2028, which will establish a priority strategic approach aimed at promoting an effective improvement in the occupational health and safety of workers.Currently, the Andalusian Occupational Health and Safety Strategy 2017-2022 is in force, extended to 2023.

Finally, he highlighted the work of initiatives such as the one developed by Fraternidad-Muprespa, to remember “the firm and determined commitment to occupational safety”.

Then Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture, took the floor, recalling the importance of occupational risk prevention and underlining that “technical progress in recent years has given rise to an evident improvement in working conditions, but we still find accident statistics that result elevated”.

The day ended with the intervention of Matilde Góngora, Provincial Director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, who addressed a motivating message to the award-winning companies, giving way to the delivery of the badges.
