Cantabria: road safety workshop with virtual reality within Prevention Week
The Association of Higher Prevention Technicians of Cantabria, together with the Cantabrian Institute of Safety and Health at Work, held a work road safety day at its headquarters last Wednesday in which Fraternidad-Muprespa also participated.
Ana Gonzalez, director of the Institute, opened the day, whose presentation was given by Enrique Rodriguez, president of the Association.
Fraternidad-Muprespa organized a workplace road safety workshop with immersive virtual reality equipment, which allows users to simulate driving in adverse conditions. Ricardo Alonso, an occupational risk prevention consultant for the Mutua, worked with the attendees on an aspect as important as concentration, so necessary when getting behind the wheel.
