Fraternidad-Muprespa was present this Thursday at the event "Your experience counts. Your experience counts", focused on promoting preventive culture in the workplace and organized by the Córdoba Occupational Risk Prevention Center, attached to the Department of Employment, Business and Self-Employment of the Government of Andalusia.

The event brought together representatives from companies such as Cunext, Infrico, Bofrost or Sulo Ibérica, and entities such as Fraternidad-Muprespa, to share their experiences and good practices in occupational health and safety.

The Employment Delegate, Maria Dolores Galvez, described at the opening the objective of the meeting: "to identify, document and disseminate successful actions that can be replicated in other organizations since this transfer of knowledge is very important."

For your part José Antonio Leiva, ddirector of the CPRL, highlighted the objective of “working hand in hand with companies, institutions, prevention services, unions and mutual societies.”

Natalia Fdez. Laviada, sGeneral Deputy Director of Prevention, Quality and Communication of the Mutual, gave the presentation “Transform mentalities for an authentic preventive culture... the experience of Fraternidad-Muprespa” and defined preventive culture as a compendium of different characteristics, skills, abilities, competencies, values, beliefs and attitudes, highlighting the importance of
“act coherently beyond words, so that it is real and not mere cosmetics.”

Next, he outlined the work carried out by the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security, far from the roles of insurance entities or prevention services. Fdez. Laviada explained that its function is to “help reduce accidents through expert advice from prevention consultants through actions such as personalized visits, preparation of situation analysis, strategic planning, accident investigation or coordination of business activities, among others.

Finally, he described the offer of preventive material that Fraternidad-Muprespa has accessible to its mutual companies through various channels, newsletters and web portals, such as Campus Prevention, the online Prevention Classroom, occupational road safety workshops with virtual reality equipment or the Fratertalk space.

Also present at the event were Fernando Garcia, head of the Innovation and Prevention Programs Cabinet of the General Directorate of Labor, Occupational Health and Safety, and Luis Colmenero, head of the Promotion Office of the Andalusian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention.

This initiative of the Andalusian Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Risks, which has visited all the Andalusian provinces as pre-congress days - the one in Córdoba was the last to be held - will culminate with the congress that will be held in this same city on October 30 and 31, organized by the Andalusian Institute for Occupational Risk Prevention and in which Fraternidad-Muprespa has confirmed its participation.
