Fraternidad MUPRESPA INAUGURA EN EL PARQUE DE LAS CIENCIAS DE GRANADA LA EXPOSICIÓN "TRABAJO Y SALUD. DESDE LA PROTECCIÓN A LA PREVENCIÓN"

He National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work, of the Ministry of Labor and Immigration, the Francisco Largo Caballero Foundation, together with our Mutual,Fraternidad Muprespa, have organized this exhibition that will tour around 20 Spanish cities in the next two years.

On May 11, the Exhibition "Work and Health. From protection to prevention" was inaugurated in a space reserved for it in the complex of the Science Park of the city of Granada.

The Director of the Park presented the event, welcoming the organizers and congratulating the initiative and the coincidence with one of the objectives of the institution, which maintains a permanent pavilion dedicated to prevention.

Then they intervened President of the Francisco Largo Caballero Foundation, Don Jesús Pérez, he Curator of the Exhibition Don Emilio Castejón, the INSHT Director, Doña Concepción Pascual and the Managing Director of Fraternidad Muprespa, Don Carlos Aranda.

The Exhibition will remain in Granada until next September, from where it will move to Albacete, and is scheduled to tour around twenty Spanish cities.

It consists of six sections that cover various historical stages of working conditions, the mobilization of workers to improve these conditions, the evolution of legislation in this area and health care and surveillance. All this in our country.

The 286 documents, 71 objects, 129 photographs, more than forty reproductions of engravings and posters and work scenes, accompanied by explanatory texts, occupy more than four hundred square meters. One 17-minute DVD and four 3-5 minute DVDs visually complement the tour.

A book has been published in which 17 specialists collaborate and a website will soon be put into operation that will be kept updated throughout the entire duration of the exhibition.

Likewise, in the different locations along the route, conferences by experts related to the topic and the most relevant work activities in the area will be held.

The inauguration was attended by staff from the Territorial Delegation of Andalusia and the Granada Delegation of Fraternidad Muprespa, as well as the Deputy Director of Human Resources and Prevention and the Deputy Director of Coordination.
