Fraternidad MUPRESPA AND Asepeyo SIGN A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT TO SHARE CARE RESOURCES
The mutual Fraternidad Muprespa and Asepeyo have signed a collaboration agreement that aims to offer better health coverage to the workers of the more than 644,000 companies associated with both mutual societies.
This agreement, approved on July 6 by the Ministry of Labor and Immigration, will make it possible to prioritize healthcare provision with the resources available to both entities, optimizing the management of public resources through the sharing of resources and services.
Workers affiliated with the two mutual insurance companies, more than 3,800,000, will be able to benefit from the health benefits offered by the two entities, based fundamentally on reasons of proximity. This will mean bringing healthcare activity closer to the end user to achieve full recovery, offering them a more effective service, as well as reducing health costs derived from workplace accidents.
The implementation of this agreement will be done gradually, and will have an impact on the entire healthcare network of both mutual insurance companies, which extends nationwide. The two entities have a total of 276 facilities, including healthcare centers, hospitals and rehabilitation centers, and will make all their healthcare resources available to their affiliated workers: hospital, outpatient and recovery care for medical benefits for work accidents and occupational diseases.
This agreement follows the will of the Ministry of Labor and Immigration, who requests mutual societies to prioritize the provision of health care with their own means or through agreements with other mutual societies.
