Around 40,000 people lose their lives annually in our country due to a stroke and one occurs every six minutes in Spain. Fraternidad-Muprespa wanted to commemorate that October 29 is World Stroke Day and to do so we tell you the story of Raúl Dávila, a normal man, with a normal life, whose life was changed one day in July 2011 by a stroke. We have collected his evolutionary process, his determined commitment to see his children grow up after having spent a few months without even remembering that he was a father, to resume his work activity and to experience the adaptation to a new environment in a podcast that you can listen to here.

On the occasion of this day we present on PodcastFM the interesting testimony of a person who suffered a stroke in 2011

We want to put the focus on those who have already suffered it, on those who have become an example of improvement. We bring one of them, the story of a person's life before and after suffering a stroke, the description of the initial diagnosis, leaving the hospital, assuming the new situation and adapting to a new environment.

Fraternidad-Muprespa and the Ictus Brake Association signed a collaboration agreement in 2018 to promote awareness-raising activities about this disease, as well as to inform about the importance of its rapid detection and the correct way to prevent it, reducing its consequences in society. Likewise, the Association gave the Mutual the 'Brain Caring People Company' seal, which recognizes the Mutual's involvement in the dissemination of prevention and stroke detection.
