Olvido Arenas, new Deputy General Director of Information Systems and Services of Fraternidad-Muprespa
Arenas, a Higher Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, assumes the position she held Pedro Serrera, new Secretary General of the entity.
He also has several master's degrees: in Occupational Risk Prevention in the three specialties; in Planning and Design of Health Centers, from the Open University of Catalonia; and in Information Systems Management and Business Technology, from the Nebrija University.
After beginning his work experience in the occupational risk prevention sector, he joined the Fraternidad-Muprespa External Prevention Service in 1999, as a prevention technician in industrial areas of Iberia.
In 2009 she joined the Mutua's Central Services as head of Maintenance and General Services of the old Central Hospital. After its demolition, in 2014, he joined the Works Department to participate in the construction of the new Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital.
In 2018 he became the head of the Production, Systems and Communications Department within the same subdirectorate of Information Systems and Services, which he now takes charge of.
In his career, he has actively participated in the complete renovation cycle of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital.
Arenas took on the writing of reports in the initial phase, later taking charge of the transfer of activity, its closure and demolition and participating in the new work, which culminated in the opening of the new center in 2019, the year in which it was also distinguished as one of the four most sustainable hospitals in the world thanks to its LEED Healthcare Platinum certification.
Likewise, his decisive role during the coronavirus pandemic stands out, since the Production, Systems and Communications Department that he directed was responsible for making remote work a reality for a large part of the Mutua's staff, in addition to providing computer equipment, connectivity and access to applications with total security.
Coinciding with this new stage, in the General Subdirectorate of Information Systems and Services, its structure has been reorganized with the creation of the Information Systems Center, which assumes the areas of the development field. The Production, Systems and Communications and Information Systems Security departments, as well as the Data area, also depend on it. Sergi Frontons assumes the direction of this Center.
The other departments, Works, Contracting and Purchases and Services, continue to depend on the Subdirectorate.
Arenas faces this new stage "with the same enthusiasm as when I began my career in the entity, with a vocation for service and the desire to continue contributing, in gratitude for the trust that the mutual insurance company has always placed in me."
