PREVENTION OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS AND FOOD SAFETY

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa, has collaborated with the Provincial Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Almería (ASHAL) in a conference on Occupational Risk Prevention and Food Safety that took place throughout the week. They have been aimed at workers from different hospitality establishments in the capital of Almería.

Isabel Juan, director of ASHAL, presented the event and thanked Fraternidad-Muprespa for its collaboration in this project. He has also commented on the importance of “ comprehensively train workers in this sector”, highlighting the obligation to strictly comply with safety regulations in kitchens and similar establishments.

Alfonso Gerez Miras, technician in the Mutua Health Culture Prevention and Development department, gave an interesting presentation in which he interacted with the students, explaining the most important risks in the kitchen assistant job and the preventive measures to apply.

The day ended with the positive assessment of the students, who have shown great interest in health and safety in the workplace.
