RESOLUTION 02/21/2008 - REGISTRATION OF CONTRACTS CONCERNED BY ECONOMICALLY DEPENDENT SELF-EMPLOYED PEOPLE

Resolution of February 21, 2008, of the State Public Employment Service, which establishes the procedure for the registration of contracts concluded by economically dependent self-employed workers (Click here to download).

Law 20/2007, of July 11, on the Statute of Self-Employed Work, in its Chapter III of Title II, regulates the professional regime of the economically dependent self-employed worker and in its article 12 the contract to be concluded between the worker himself and the natural or legal person who hires him, called the client, as well as the registration that must be made of that contract.

On the other hand, and until the necessary provisions for the application and development of Law 20/2007 are issued, and a "management assignment" is formalized or the corresponding Agreements are signed with the Autonomous Communities, the State Public Employment Service will provisionally carry out the registration of said contracts.

Therefore, in order to implement said registry urgently, it is considered appropriate to provide guidelines on the indicated registration procedure.
