Spanish Basf of Guadalajara participates in a road safety day with Immersive Virtual Reality
With the aim of reducing workplace accidents associated with traffic, on November 13, the company Basf Española, S.L. world leader in the chemical sector and Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual collaborator with Social Security, No. 275, have held a day-workshop on "Road Safety with Immersive Virtual Reality" at the company's facilities in Marchamalo (Guadalajara), taught by David Revillo Vidales, senior prevention technician of the Prevention and Development of Health Culture department of Fraternidad-Muprespa, who has obtained the desired awareness objective and great acceptance by attendees.
In this workshop-day, simulated driving experiences were carried out in real time safely and without having to leave the classroom. Combining the use of the latest technology in virtual reality and the attractive presentation of technical and awareness concepts adapted to the profile of each assistant, it manages to change the driver's perception of risk, from the human factor and without forgetting other factors that influence road accidents, such as the vehicle and the road.
He was present on the day Eduardo Sanz Murillo, territorial director of the Southern Plateau who has been in charge of its closure.
