The CSR Table of Castellón, of which Fraternidad-Muprespa is a part, turns ten years old
The Castellón Corporate Social Responsibility Board, of which Fraternidad-Muprespa is a part, celebrates ten years of existence this November. In this period it has consolidated itself as a reference for the promotion of ethics and social responsibility thanks to the involvement and commitment of the more than fifty companies, organizations and institutions that comprise it. On the occasion of this anniversary, the CSR Board will add to its extensive proposal of annual activities, the call for an award for good practices in social responsibility that will be awarded next March coinciding with an exhibition that reflects the association's ten years of history.
This Friday, November 30, the members will participate in a fun day at the Voramar Hotel that will include workshops and a meal. The objective is to celebrate the growth and consolidation of the CSR Roundtable and strengthen ties between associated entities.
The CSR Roundtable was established in November 2008 based on the initiative of a private company and a public organization that sought to consolidate a space for dialogue for the exchange of information and experiences on social responsibility. Throughout these ten years of life it has matured and grown, both in participants and in activities, actions and joint projects.
Among the activities of the CSR Roundtable is the “Networking” program for job search, a workshop in which companies and NGOs collaborate to promote the employability of people with difficulties in accessing the labor market; the celebration of CSR days as a space for debate; working groups specialized in areas such as human resources or the implementation of social development projects at the proposal of the members of the CSR Board. In addition, the CSR Roundtable is working to promote training talks in secondary schools to raise awareness among young generations about the need and benefits of socially responsible behavior.
The CSR Table is open to the participation of new companies and entities both on their own initiative and at the proposal of one of its members.
