The “Enfoca Talento” program of the Avilés City Council recognizes Fraternidad-Muprespa
The mayor of Avilés, Mariví Monteserín, closed last Friday the sixth edition of the "Enfoca Talento" project, a program that began its journey in 2016 to carry out activities aimed at unemployed women through the development of a comprehensive action plan, with the aim of their reintegration into the labor market.
The city's House of Culture hosted the event in which representatives of various mentor entities in this project were present, among them, Fraternidad-Muprespa, represented by Maite Belver, Provincial Director of the Mutua in Asturias, and Ana Fernández Castro, director of the Gijón Delegation.
In addition to the diploma intended for the participating women, the companies committed to this project also received a distinction, the "Company Committed to Female Talent" seal, for their collaboration with the business community of the municipality and the region, for their contribution to the success of the program.
Maite Belver highlighted that "this is an important and successful initiative, as demonstrated by the employability of 40% of those mentored.
He also added that “public-private collaboration is essential, since, in this way, the training provided by the different Institutions can be adapted to the profiles that companies demand, greatly facilitating job placement.”
For her part, Ana Fernández Castro assured that "these mentoring sessions are promoted from three dimensions: attitudinal, competency and aptitude. We mentors perform a double role, on the one hand, conveying the reality of the market in which women intend to enter and, on the other hand, introducing them into our network of businesswomen and managers."
