The headquarters of the Provincial Directorate of Ourense reopens its doors after the refurbishment works
The Provincial management of Fraternidad-Muprespa in the Galician capital has reopened its doors after renovation and improvement work aimed at offering mutual members a renovated, more comfortable and also more sustainable space of 600 meters2. With a Class A energy efficiency classification, the maximum, its design saves 57.2% energy.
The healthcare area of the center has been completely updated, undertaking a new distribution for the space of the waiting rooms and consultations, while the complete renovation of bathrooms and changing rooms provides these spaces with better accessibility in response to the needs of people with disabilities, providing an inclusive approach and attention adapted to the specific needs of each user.
It has an access ramp, automatic doors, an elevator with a double entrance, a magnetic loop in admission for people with hearing difficulties and tactile routing for people with visual difficulties, as well as room signage in high relief and Braille.
High energy efficiency LED lighting systems have been installed, the electricity and voice and data installation has been renewed, finishes have been undertaken on floors, ceilings and walls, in addition to painting, and the accessibility and general adaptation of the center has been improved thanks to the replacement of the manual door with an automatic one, the expansion of the waiting rooms and the corridors in the care area. Likewise, the physiotherapy room has been unified with a gym equipped with modern equipment.
The administrative area has an admission area, administrative work space, two medical consultations for common contingencies, a waiting room and a meeting and training room.

Fraternidad-Muprespa has been present in Ourense since 2004. It has a team made up of 13 people, in addition to the Provincial Director, José Manuel Sampayo, for whom this reform "makes modern facilities available to protected workers in an easily accessible area, with public parking, 15 minutes from the industrial estates and five from the city's reference hospital."
The Provincial management covers around 3,500 mutual companies and a protected population of around 14,000 workers, of which 2,100 are self-employed. Its opening hours are from eight in the morning to three in the afternoon.
