The jury of the Escolástico Zaldívar awards meets to evaluate the nominations received

The awards, established in 2013 and named after the founder of the Mutua, recognize, once again, companies that have carried out actions aimed at improving the safety and health of their workers, beyond compliance with the rule.

The jury of this IX edition has evaluated the 70 applications presented by 60 mutual companies, which bring together 16,500 protected workers. This jury is made up of:

President:

The award categories There are five and in each one a first prize and up to three honorable mentions will be awarded. They are the following:

  • PLUS PREVENTION: recognition of preventive improvement actions aimed at reducing occupational accidents and occupational diseases in one of the five major areas that make up the prevention of occupational risks: occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, applied psychosociology or health surveillance.
  • SAFE MOBILITY: recognition of actions and good practices in road safety, aimed at reducing workplace traffic accidents.
  • TALKING ABOUT PREVENTION: recognition of the work of communication, dissemination and promotion of prevention both internally within the company as towards the outside.
  • WALKING TOWARDS WELLBEING: recognition of programs and projects to promote healthy habits among workers.
  • WE FEEL PREVENTION: recognition of good inclusive preventive practices related to the integration of the gender perspective, active aging or workers with different abilities, as well as preventive practices that address the preventive challenges of the future and the use of new technologies applied to improving working conditions.

Furthermore, as a novelty there are also two extraordinary awards:

  • EXTRAORDINARY AWARD FOR PROFESSIONAL CAREER CAREER to that person who stands out for their extensive experience and career in the world of prevention of occupational risks.
  • EXTRAORDINARY AWARD TO THE ENTITY especially committed to the dissemination and promotion of  prevention of occupational risks.

The delivery ceremony will take place on April 28 starting at 10 a.m. and will be broadcast on the Fraternidad-Muprespa YouTube channel.
