THE MUTUAL Fraternidad-Muprespa HAS PARTICIPATED IN A CORUÑA IN A DAY ON ABSENTEEISM AND TEMPORARY DISABILITY.

On September 18, the Mutua Fraternidad-Muprespa held a conference in A Coruña on Absenteeism and IT: News in the management and control of IT; RD 625/2014 in collaboration with the National Association of Labor Workers (ASNALA), and Afundación.

The talk focused on the following aspects; the evolution of absenteeism in the Spanish labor market and the effect of the latest reforms in this area.

Subsequently, a quick sharing of the new formal obligations that RDL 625/2014 introduces with regard to the management and control of IT processes was carried out:

• The possible improvement of the established mechanisms, with the aim of lightening the procedures and bureaucratic burdens that currently exist, to focus the Temporary Disability processes on the protection of the affected worker and their prompt recovery.
• The reality or not of the fact that new technologies allow both the exchange of medical data for the control of Temporary Disability.
• Improvements in monitoring disease processes.

The presentations included Mr. Marcos Ramos Souto (representing ASNALA), Mr. Benito Couceiro Naveira (ABANCA) and Mr. Alejandro Lamelo Garrido, Provincial Director of Mutua Fraternidad-Muprespa of A Coruña.

A discussion has been generated on the reasons for absenteeism and the influence of the legislator on the latest variations made in its evolution.

Likewise, the new Royal Decree and the doubts that may have arisen in its application, the deadlines and the administration's response to the proposed changes have been assessed.

The closing of the event was carried out by the representative of ASNALA, thanking the attendees for their participation and urging them to continue attending similar events.
