THE PREVENTION OF ADDICTIONS IN THE WORKPLACE: A HUMAN AND BUSINESS APPROACH

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa participated on November 24 in Aranda de Duero, in an information day on “ “The prevention of addictions in the workplace: a human and business approach.” The event has been organized by ASEMAR(Association of Businessmen of Aranda and La Ribera) and the Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos.

The general secretary of the Confederation of Businessmen FAE Burgos has been assisted,Emiliana Molero and the director of the Prevention area of ​​Proyecto Hombre de Burgos,Assumption Rubio Horta, who has exposed the problems posed by the phenomenon of alcoholism and drug addiction in the work environment and the harm they pose to the company. 

Likewise, the general secretaries of the U.G.T. unions have collaborated and intervened. and CC.OO. from Burgos.

Carolina Candelas Fernandez, technical advisor to the provincial management of Burgos, spoke with her presentation “Mutual societies and their experience in risky consumption” and explained the role that mutual societies play in relation to this type of addictions.

Next Ascension Velasco García, occupational doctor at Fraterprevención in Aranda de Duero, explained the actions of prevention services in the medical field.

The day ended with a discussion in which different aspects of the topics covered by the day were addressed.
