THE QUIRON HOSPITAL AND THE MUTUA

On April 27 and within the framework of the actions contemplated by the Fraternidad-Muprespa reinforcement plan against workplace accidents 2012, and on the occasion of the commemoration of April 28, World Day for Safety and Health at Work, a day was organized to raise awareness and prevent biological risk for healthcare personnel.

This was held at the Quirón Hospital Group, with the collaboration of the Provincial Directorate of Barcelona and the AT and PD Prevention Department of the mutual insurance company.

For this reason, a stand was organized at the entrance to the Quirón Hospital in Barcelona for all workers who are exposed to biological risk. At the stand, the new preventive material prepared by the Quirón Hospital Group was advertised and a study was carried out among attendees to assess the level of knowledge that workers have regarding this risk.

With this initiative, both entities aim to significantly reduce workplace accidents, as well as improve and increase workers' knowledge at a preventive level.
